From Priest River, turn North on Hwy 57 at the light.  Proceed 3.6 miles to

Peninsula Road

.  Turn RIGHT on Peninsula Road and go 4.6 miles until pavement ends,         then 5.1 miles more on gravel and you will see the Priest River Experimental Station sign on RIGHT.  Turn right and go 1/4 mile and take LEFT road as it splits.          (Watch for the balloons!)

The PREF compound is made up of several buildings.  Look for the Large Lodge, 4th building on left.  Has large white birch trees in front.  I will mark it with another    balloon  or something.  

 Pot luck on Friday, buffet on Saturday.  You are on your own for breakfasts and lunches so bring your own ingredients.  There are refrigerators and full kitchens in all buildings, including microwaves! 

 

You MUST be a Spokane Mushroom Club Member to attend this foray.  Dues are still just $15 per family, per year. You may include a separate

check made out to the Spokane Mushroom Club and include it in your Registration for the 2008 dues.

PS:  Most cell phones don't work at the PREF, however, they do when you get back on Hwy 57 near the Information Center.  Verizon does        work  in the Priest Lake area.  In case of emergencies only, you can call Marrina at 1 (208) 448-2168.
